The cash looks good, but make sure you don’t end up paying for it!

With the Super Bowl coming up in Indianapolis in a few weeks and the festivities already underway, several homeowners are choosing to rent out their home to perfect strangers. Football fans are offering thousands of dollars in exchange for full access of peoples’ homes for a week or even a month.
While it could turn out to be a good deal, it is definitely in your best interest to speak with your insurance agent to make sure you are covered if any damage, theft, or vandalism is done to your property during that time.
For my clients who have told me they’re leasing their homes during the Super Bowl, I have added the necessary endorsement that they need to make sure that they don’t end up losing out in the deal. You can really never be too careful.
